This pan requires a plug for the NPT port if you don't plan on using a quick drain valve etc.All spacers are CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum. Kit consists of (1) flange spacer, (2) bracket spacers, o-ring, and the correct (4) bolts. Some builders prefer a larger pan to pickup clearance, some do not. KB recommends using their spacer kit with any OEM oil pickup 2006 and later with the KB Ultimate Oil Pickup. The Optimal Oil Pan is ~3/8" deeper than a factory oil pan. The pan is made to work with KB's Ultimate oil Pickup, but the KB pan can be modified to work with any pickup you've got! The Header friendly design is based on the EJ25 pan so it should work with any header that works with the OEM pan. Fixed Aluminum baffles, that are an improvement over the OEM design to streamline the oil flow to where it needs to be, at the pickup! All the baffle components are TIG welded with no internal moving parts to wear, stick or fail. There are (2) 1/2"NPT drain ports CNC machined into the cast pan. KB's CAD designed oil pan is cast from aluminum, the flanges and oil ports are CNC machined for for the best fitment. The V2 Killer B Performance Oil Pan holds an extra 1.4 quarts of oil, a +30% increase in capacity over OEM. If you're looking to have your own personal reserve of foreign oil here's a good place to start.
